B&M are one of UK’s fastest growing variety retailers selling Big Brands at affordable prices. Interactive Projects and Design are pleased to have an exclusive contract with B&M for their ongoing expansion programme.
Projects can sometimes provide a number of significant challenges for the IPD team, examples are mezzanine support posts which require relocating to suit the new sales floor layout, the stores often share a busy site with an existing trading retailer and a fixed completion date by which the refurbishment works need to be handed back to the client, due to a pre-booked launch date for the busy and popular stores.
Works included:
Sales Floor:-
Strip out of the existing fixtures and fittings from the previous tenant.
Full preparation of the sales floor walls and roof prior to the required spraying works.
Strip out & reinstate new suspended ceiling to the underside of the sales floor mezzanine once the support post had been relocated.
Dry-lining works to the front elevation of the store including new electrical cupboard.
Installation of full new shelving system including perimeter shelving, central aisle gondola, display plinths, box corners and all associated joinery works.
Decorations to sales floor.
Coordination of new flooring works, electrical works & spray works.
Warehouse storage works:-
Installation of new racking system to warehouse.
Office & BOH Areas:-
Complete redecoration to staff welfare facilities.
Full refurbishment works to all staff toilets and kitchen facilities.
Full office refurbishment.
Through careful planning IPD are able to complete the projects within the required time frame, without causing disruption to neighbouring retailers, allowing the client to hit their pre-planned launch date.
