Interactive Projects and Design has been working with Halfords Autocentres for many years. Acting as Principal Contractor, IPD completed a refurbishment of an existing unit from shell to a ready to trade MOT and Auto Centre within a 6 week period. Works included, core piling and slab works, brake and MOT pit forming works, staff welfare and reception rooms construction and fit out works. Full decorations throughout including garage floor epoxy paint works and yellow floor markings in accordance with VOSA requirements.
IPD Principal Contractor responsibilities included liaising with local building control and ensuring that CDM (Construction Design Management) considerations were adhered to and that the health and safety of the Halfords Autocentre direct and IPD sub contractors were fully accommodated throughout the construction project.
